How to read a COA
- Match the lotThe lot or batch number on the report should match the label on your vial exactly.
- Check identityMass spectrometry confirms the compound is what it says, by its measured molecular mass.
- Check purityHPLC shows the share of the sample that is the target compound. Higher is cleaner.
- Verify at the sourceUse “Verify at lab” to open the report on the laboratory’s own site.
