What is Vesugen?
Vesugen is a synthetic tripeptide bioregulator (Lys-Glu-Asp) from the Khavinson series, associated with the vascular wall. Royal Peptides supplies Vesugen as a high-purity, research-grade 20mg lyophilized vial. You can buy it as a single vial or as a 10-vial kit.
Vesugen research overview
Vesugen has been studied in vascular endothelial cell models, the cells lining blood vessels, including work on markers of cellular ageing and proliferation in cultured vascular cells. It is used as a research tool for exploring how tissue-specific short peptides may affect gene expression in the vascular system.
Peptide bioregulators are ultra-short chains of 2 to 4 amino acids, first described by Prof. Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues. Each one is linked to a specific tissue, and they are studied for how they may interact with DNA and chromatin to affect gene expression. Vesugen is the vascular member of this family.

Choose your format
- Single Vial (1 x 20mg): a good fit for pilot studies or for trying Vesugen alongside other bioregulators.
- 10-Vial Kit (10 x 20mg): just $55 per vial, saving you $100 compared with buying 10 single vials. You also get consistent material from one batch for longer research runs.
Want to work with several bioregulators at once? See our Bioregulator Mix Kit.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilized Vesugen at -20°C for long-term stability, or at 2–8°C for short-term storage. Keep it away from light and moisture. Let the vial reach room temperature before opening. Handle it according to your lab’s standard procedures for research peptides.
Quality and testing
Every batch of Vesugen is third-party tested by HPLC. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for each lot so you can check identity and purity before use.
Vesugen FAQ
Is Vesugen for human use?
No. Vesugen is sold strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research.
What is the difference between the single vial and the 10-vial kit?
Both contain the same 20mg vials from the same production standard. The kit has ten vials, typically from one batch, at $55 per vial instead of $65.
Where can I find the COA for Vesugen?
COAs are available on our Lab Reports page, or on request from our support team.
